Springside Cheese Factory

Springside Cheese is a family-owned cheesemaking company rich in Wisconsin tradition, tracing its first factory back to 1908 amidst the rolling hills north of Green Bay. The Hintz family legacy began when Wayne Hintz purchased the factory in 1973, dedicating himself to the art of cheesemaking, a passion he inherited from his dairy farmer father and cheesemaker father-in-law. Today, Springside is known for its award-winning hand-crafted products, including their famous "squeaky" cheese curds, Bandaged Cheddar, and White Cheddar, and continues to operate out of its original location in Oconto Falls, Wisconsin, with additional retail shops in Stiles, Wisconsin, and Pueblo, Colorado, extending their reach nationwide.
